The Historical Club "Vladivostok Fortress" was formed under support of Primorje Region Branch of All-Russian Society for the Preservation of Cultural and Historical Treasures in February, 1989. The main goal of the Club is scientific research and education activity concerning with preservation of the fortification heredity, mainly of Vladivostok and vicinity. The Club make assistance to all persons and organisation interested in interpretation, preservation and rational application of the former fortifications. The members of the Club have publish the works on fortification history (see Catalog).
The meetings of the Club are carried out monthly. The meeting themes and graphic are enclosed below. The Chairman of Executive Committee is Nikolay Buddaevich Ayushin, the Vice Chairman is Vladimir I. Kalinin. The contact address is: Kalinin V. Because of inability of further creative collaboration with Primorje Region Branch of All-Russian Society for the Preservation of Cultural and Historical Treasures (see the Announcement) the status of the club is changed from 2001. The current status of the club is the Military-Historian Club "Vladivostok Fortress" at Primorje Region Branch of the All-Russian Public Organisation "Russian Geographycal Society" - The Society of Amur Region Investigation.|

From 1990 to 2000 all the meetings have been carried out in the Bezymiannaya Battery (Museum of Vladivostok Fortress, Batarejnaya st., 1a) in 6.30 pm.
ATTENTION: All the meetings will be carried out in the building of Presidium of the Far East Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Svetlanskaya st., 50) in the reading hall of the library in 18.30 p.m.The changes are possible. Information by phone 31-11-68
